Bewakoof’s FY26 Net Loss Jumps Nearly 20% To ₹87.4 Cr; Revenue Crosses ₹200 Cr Mark

After improving its bottom line performance in the fiscal year FY25, D2C fashion brand Bewakoof reversed the trend and slipped deeper into the red in the fiscal year ended March 2026.

The company’s net loss increased 19.4% to ₹87.4 Cr in FY26 from ₹73.2 Cr in FY25. The brand had managed to improve its bottom line by 29% YoY in the previous fiscal.

The loss expanded despite an improvement in its top line performance in the fiscal. The brand’s operating revenue for the fiscal grew by 40.6% to ₹243.1 Cr from ₹173 Cr. It also earned ₹5 Cr in other income during the year under review, pushing total income to ₹248.2 Cr.

Profitability improved marginally on an EBITDA basis as its EBITDA loss narrowed by 7.2% to ₹54.8 Cr, compared to ₹59 Cr in the previous year.

Founded in 2012 by Prabhkiran Singh, Bewakoof is a D2C fashion and lifestyle brand that sells clothing, accessories, notebooks, and backpacks targeted at millennials and Gen Z consumers. It competes with the likes of MyDesignation, Snitch, and The Souled Store.

In late 2022, Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail (ABFRL), through its roll-up subsidiary TMRW, bought a majority stake in the startup for ₹200 Cr. The acquisition was completed in February 2023.

Notably, Bewakoof’s founder Singh had announced earlier this year that he planned to step down at the end of March to focus on personal goals. The brand is yet to clarify its new leadership structure.
