Amazon launches two new personal AI devices, Bee Frontier and Bee Eclipse

Amazon has introduced two new personal AI devices under its Bee lineup, Bee Frontier and Bee Eclipse. The devices are designed to convert everyday conversations into summaries, reminders and to-do lists, helping users keep track of important details.

Bee Frontier is available for $74.99, while Bee Eclipse is expected to arrive at a starting price of $99.99. The launch expands Amazon’s Bee range, which previously included the Bee Pioneer wearable. The new devices aim to help users remember important details from meetings, classes, conversations and daily plans.

Bee Frontier is a wearable device that can be worn on the wrist or clipped to clothing. Available in Lavender, Sage and Onyx, it features dual microphones with noise filtering, IP67 water resistance, USB-C charging and up to seven days of battery life.

Bee Eclipse, meanwhile, is a slim device about the size of a credit card that attaches magnetically to the back of a smartphone. It comes in Silver, Midnight, Honey and Blush, and offers more than 21 days of battery life on a single charge. It is expected to be available at a starting price of $99.99.

Both devices capture conversations when activated and turn them into useful summaries, insights and action items. Users can also connect Bee with apps such as Gmail, Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook to help organise tasks and follow-ups.

Amazon CEO Andy Jassy announced the launch in a post on X, saying the devices turn conversations into summaries, to-dos and reminders.

"Bee Frontier goes on your wrist or clips to your clothing, and Bee Eclipse snaps to the back of your phone to catch what you'd otherwise forget throughout your day, whether it's notes from a class you're taking, the details of a trip you're planning, or an idea that comes to you in the car," he wrote.
