The platform's first Beauty Trend Report supplies specific search growth figures for copper hair, cheeky flush makeup and latte nails, giving brands concrete content direction as they plan autumn campaigns.
Pinterest has published its first Beauty Trend Report, built from year-on-year search growth across the platform's 640 million monthly active users. Released on 6 October 2026, the report doesn't just name the trends. It quantifies them, handing beauty marketers the specific terminology and percentage growth figures they need to shape Q4 content calendars, product launches and paid creative.
Dusty rose blush searches are up 189%, terracotta 164% and peach 148%. Mocha balayage hair has climbed 949%, soft copper blonde 845% and cherry cola brunette 788%. These aren't vague directional nudges. They're product briefs written by the market itself.
The report shows searches becoming more specific: not just a bob, but a textured French bob; not just a red manicure, but a dark-red cat-eye manicure. That precision is what makes this data actionable. A beauty brand can now build a tutorial around "dusty rose blush" with confidence that nearly 200% more people are actively searching for that exact phrase than they were a year ago.
Pinterest says consumers lose interest in a trend if it goes from niche to everywhere too fast, causing them to personalise rather than copy looks exactly.
