The beta feature centralises moderation notices and appeals inside Bluesky for the first time, matching the in-app workflow every other platform already offers. For brands running accounts at scale, that's one less inbox to monitor.

Bluesky is rolling out a moderation inbox in beta today, moving notifications about enforcement actions from email into the app itself.

The feature shifts moderation decisions from email into the app, allowing Bluesky to send a higher volume of notifications and be more transparent about enforcement. It's available now through the Beta Features section of the app settings.

For social media professionals managing brand accounts, the shift matters because it standardises where enforcement happens. Every major platform already surfaces strikes, warnings, and appeals in-app. Bluesky handled appeals for taken-down accounts via email, which meant teams monitoring multiple accounts across platforms had to check yet another channel. That workflow doesn't scale when you're running social at any size.

The inbox consolidates three things that previously lived in email or went unseen: notices about content that's been actioned, updates on the status of reports you filed, and a way to appeal enforcement decisions without leaving the app.

xyz . The moderation inbox will also handle appeals, pulling the entire enforcement loop into one place.
