Zelda Switch 2 Console and Pro Controller Restock Date Officially Confirmed

One retailer has confirmed that it will have fresh stock of the 40th Anniversary Legend of Zelda-themed Nintendo Switch 2 console and Pro Controller soon. Nintendo is celebrating The Legend of Zelda's 40th anniversary in a variety of ways, with one of the biggest being the release of the Ocarina of Time remake on the Switch 2.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on Switch 2 actually marks the second time that Nintendo has remade the Nintendo 64 classic. A 3DS version of the game launched 15 years ago with new control options and improved graphics, but the Switch 2 remake is much more ambitious. Not only have the graphics gotten a massive upgrade, but more substantial changes have been made as well, like the addition of a jump button, a reworked Castle Town, a fully controllable camera, and more. There's a great deal of hype for the Ocarina of Time remake on Switch 2, and for good reason, but it's not the only way Nintendo is celebrating the franchise's 40th anniversary.

Nintendo reveals the appearances of the titular Ocarina of Time and the three Spiritual Stones in the upcoming Switch 2 remake.

Nintendo is also releasing a variety of specially-themed Zelda hardware and accessories as part of the 40th anniversary, with the limited-edition Switch 2 console and Pro Controller set to launch on October 29, about a week before the OoT remake hits store shelves. The console costs $520 and the Pro Controller costs $100, but both sold out almost immediately.
