Xbox announced its newest controller model on Wednesday. The Xbox Nano Controller is a pocket-sized controller designed for gaming on the go, like at a friend's house.
Its compact design makes the Nano Controller a good option for gamers with smaller hands or younger players who might have a hard time finding a controller that fits right. The Xbox Nano Controller is 5 inches wide and weighs 3.5 ounces — small and light. It fits just about any pocket, especially compared to the Xbox Wireless and Elite controllers, both of which both measure 6 inches in width and weigh about 10 and 12 ounces, respectively.
Players won't have to worry about carrying batteries around, as the Xbox Nano Controller has a rechargeable battery that charges via USB-C — a boon for gamers living in the year 2026. The Nano Controller can also connect with compatible PCs, mobile phones, and smart TVs via Bluetooth.
The Xbox Nano Controller costs $49.99, or $15 cheaper than a regular Xbox controller. It will be release Nov. 4, and pre-orders are already available. Each account can purchase up to five controllers per order to keep scalpers at bay. Gamers in the United States should be on the lookout, as select Samsung TVs will be part of a holiday promotion that includes a special Nano Controller and two months of Game Pass Ultimate.
