Video Game Icon Tim Curry Dies at at 80

Tim Curry, the beloved English actor who played iconic and eccentric roles like the scientist Dr. Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, the harried butler Wadsworth in Clue, and Pennywise the Clown in the original adaptation of Stephen King’s It, has died. He was 80 years old. Curry's body of work was vast and eclectic; he was unrecognizable as the devilish Darkness in Tom Cruise's Legend and went full ham in the video game Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3, playing the maniacal Russian Premier Cherdenko.
