Trick or Treat Event Guide 2026 - Disney Dreamlight Valley

Trick or Treat is back in Disney Dreamlight Valley! The Halloween event brings more duties and Halloween-themed rewards to earn, and with a mixture of returning duties (and new ones), we'll explain how you can complete all Halloween Trick or Treat event duties in Disney Dreamlight Valley to finish the pass before it concludes!

The Halloween Trick or Treat event is active from October 14 to October 31.

In Rescue Mission, you save Merlin and Scrooge McDuck after Oogie Boogie kidnaps them. Here’s how to complete it in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

There are a total of seven duties in the Trick or Treat event for 2026:

Sweet ’n’ Scary and Scarily Sweet are the two new duties for 2026. The other five have returned from previous Halloween events.

Complete Trick or Treat interactions at villagers' houses. Interact with the pumpkins outside Mickey, WALL-E, Daisy, Stitch, Mike Wazowski, and Jack Skellington's houses.

Same as Sweet 'n' Scary. Complete Trick or Treat interactions at villagers' houses. You can visit each house once per day.

Eat 15, 30, and 45 Candies to complete three milestones of the Sugar Rush duty.

You will need red, purple, and green candies to complete some of the Trick or Treat event duties. You can find these candies in the Plaza biome of the Dreamlight Valley. Another way to get them is by trick-or-treating at villagers’ houses. You can visit six villagers’ houses each day for this:

When you arrive at a house, interact with the pumpkin outside and select the Trick or Treat option.
