CD Projekt RED and Blizzard Entertainment have announced a new partnership bringing The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to Battle.net, alongside a special crossover to Diablo 4. With Gamescom currently taking place in Germany and now BlizzCon right around the corner, there's a ton of news coming to both Diablo 4 and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

It's been a whirlwind 24 hours so far for CD Projekt RED as the studio helped cap off the Opening Night Live showcase at Gamescom 2026. The studio had tons of announcements to share with fans, including a surprising Remastered version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and the first trailer for 2027's Songs of the Past expansion. As if that wasn't enough, CD Projekt RED also confirmed that the Remastered update won't cost anything to download in September and that the previous two Witcher 3 expansions are also free to download. Following all of that, CDPR also announces a major collaboration with Blizzard Entertainment.
