The Witcher 3 Remastered patch targets graphics issues and boats moving "uncontrollably"

The Witcher 3 Remastered has been out in the wild for a good few days now, but it's evident that CD Projekt Red isn't finished tidying up its revamped RPG just yet – and the new patch 5.01 serves as proof.

That's right, yet another update for the free upgrade to The Witcher 3 is upon us, squashing a good few bugs and addressing various complaints from fans across all platforms (except for the Nintendo Switch 2 – for now, anyway).

The full patch notes from CDPR outline all of those, starting with gameplay fixes for everything from boats moving "uncontrollably" to specific skills that haven't properly been working.

There are also UI tweaks galore and fixes specific to both PC and console players, starting with the former. For example, I'm seeing a plethora of GPU-related changes targeting the game's settings, like Dynamic Resolution Scaling and GTAO Quality.

Over on the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 end, there are entirely new settings: Bloom, Light Shafts, and Depth of Field options, with optimizations and more to boot.

Every step on the Path is an opportunity to improve for a witcher. ⚔️ See how we've improved The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered with Patch 5.01, out now on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. As for the Switch 2 edition, well, CD Projekt Red is on it. " That, plus some other improvements.
