It's been an exciting year for Pokémon fans celebrating the franchise's 30th anniversary. If you're not tracking down some of the new 30th Celebration TCG drops to buy, there have been LEGO sets galore to look into building, including an absolutely adorable set of Pikachu and a Poké Ball.
If you've been eager to add this 2,050-piece display to your collection, this is a great time to check it out. Amazon's knocked $13 off its price tag, dropping it down to $186.99 from its MSRP of $199.99. It may not be a massive discount, but it is the lowest price we've seen on it so far at the retailer, which is well worth looking into while it's still live.
This delightful display piece released towards the start of this year in February and is quite a big undertaking with its 2,050 bricks, so it makes sense why it's angled towards adult builders. With all of those pieces, you'll create a ridiculously cute Pikachu figure (with posable ears and limbs) leaping from an opened Poké Ball. Or, if you'd prefer a more neutral pose, there's also the option to pose Pikachu just resting by a closed Poké Ball instead.
If you decide to do the former pose, there's quite a fun base you'll get to build for the big leap. Of course, it's shaped like a lightning bolt for this Electric-type Pokémon, and features the number "25" in LEGO studs on the bottom, which is a nice little nod to Pikachu's Pokédex number.
