Reacher fans already know that Alan Ritchson's Jack Reacher will be back for another adventure, and the wait for Season 5 has officially begun. Season 4 wrapped up its adaptation of Lee Child's Gone Tomorrow with another bruising finale, leaving Ritchson's hero battered but very much alive and ready to wander into his next conspiracy.
Season 5 is already in production and will adapt Make Me, the 20th novel in Child's Reacher series, taking him to the mysterious town of Mother's Rest after a seemingly random train stop. There's no need to spend the wait rewatching the first four seasons, though. Anyone who watches Reacher for the brutal fights, corrupt small towns, and a protagonist who has absolutely no problem violently dealing with bad people should finally check out Banshee.
Neagley has already identified a character capable of filling Jack Reacher's place, and its replacement is anything but a copy.
Reacher Season 4 didn't exactly give the titular hero an easy time. His investigation began after witnessing Anna Marrick's suicide on a New York subway and eventually dragged him into a much, much bigger conspiracy involving a mysterious flash drive, multiple dangerous parties, and a biological weapon. By the time the finale rolled around, Reacher's habit of surviving injuries that would hospitalize anyone else is tested once again, particularly in his brutal fight with Lila Hoth.
Naturally, none of that encourages Reacher to find a quieter hobby. Season 5 will adapt Lee Child's novel Make Me , which has one of the most Reacher openings imaginable: he gets off the train at Mother's Rest because he's curious about the name.
