Anker is one of the top brands for charging tech, and likely one of the first places someone might look for a portable charger to go with a brand-new phone, or if their long-running handset needs a little help lasting a full day away from the outlet. So I was hoping that when I received the Anker MagGo Power Bank 2 Pro ($109.99 at Amazon) in the mail, it would become one of the top picks from one of the top brands. Turns out that I’m half right.

With a compact frame, built-in fan cooling, and the fastest Qi2 charging speeds on offer, the MagGo Power Bank 2 Pro seems like an ideal option. However, while this isn’t labeled as a Made For iPhone-branded product, it effectively is, with certain features designed for Apple MagSafe-equipped phones.

That said, this power bank remains a quality product that still serves Android users to an acceptable level. Read on to figure out if that’s enough to convince you to make a purchase.

On offer in a selection of four colors, the MagGo Power Bank 2 Pro costs $109 (or £99 here in the UK), the most expensive wireless power bank Anker currently offers in this size.

The Power Bank 2 Pro is effectively an evolution of the MagGo Power Bank (10k) , which is still on sale as a more affordable option. This original model has the same capacity as the new Pro version but has lower wired and wireless power output and more basic display and info options.
