Star Wars Zero Company is estimated to have surpassed one million copies sold. This would account for almost $50 million made in less than a month - a great return for a game that launched during an incredibly busy release period.

These figures come from Alinea Analytics, and bode well for Bit Reactor, as its debut title proves that there's a market for a Star Wars XCOM-like. However, this only raises questions about the future for those who worked on the game, as we know that many of them were furloughed before the game even launched, and there's been no word on whether or not they've been brought back.

According to Alinea Analytics' breakdown, this is how Zero Company's sales are spread out across different platforms:

While that is a huge gap between PC and console gamers, it isn't too surprising. A tactical game like Zero Company is always going to appeal to more hardcore gamer types, and they're more likely to play on PC. Even accounting for that, though, it is quite shocking to see just how many of us opted for PC instead.

We already knew that the game was doing particularly well on PC. Around launch, Zero Company reached a concurrent player count of 77,889 - better than any Star Wars release before it.

That likely explains why Zero Company has such a strong modding scene, despite having no official mod support.

However, all of this success only shines a light on how most of Bit Reactor's staff appear to still be out of work.
