"Luna players can jump into the single-player campaign the moment it launches without needing to own a console or wait for a lengthy download," says Amazon's Head of Gaming
Star Wars: Galactic Racer will be available to play on cloud gaming service Amazon Luna at launch as part of a Prime subscription.
Developed by Fuse Games and published by Secret Mode, players on Amazon Luna will be able to play Galactic Racer's single-player campaign alongside its Arcade and Scenario gameplay modes.
Arcade mode features shorter, time-focused events with specific objectives while the Scenarios mode has different rule-sets and characters to race with.
The game will launch on Luna alongside other platforms including Windows, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
"We've always believed Luna players deserve to be in the action from day one, and Star Wars: Galactic Racer makes that a reality for the first time," Amazon's Head of Gaming Jeff Gattis tells GamesIndustry.biz.
"Luna players can jump into the single-player campaign the moment it launches without needing to own a console or wait for a lengthy download. If they're a Prime member, they already have it at no additional cost. It's exactly the kind of experience we want to deliver on Luna, and we think players are going to love it."
Amazon Luna launched in the US in 2022 , followed by the UK, Germany, and Canada a year later . The cloud gaming platform became part of Amazon's Prime Video service in the UK and US in July this year.
