The Solo Leveling anime is taking a break in 2026, leaving the stage wide open for a new project to steal the spotlight in the form of the new video game titled Solo Leveling: Karma.

Solo Leveling: Karma is set to explore a new canon arc of the franchise, the 27-Year Monarch War. In this war, Jinwoo travels back to the past, as he restarts his journey from the very beginning, but now with even tougher challenges along the way. While Antares stands as the strongest Monarch in this new timeline, Jinwoo, by leveling up and by tapping into new powerful Monarch abilities, is set to overtake him once more. The new release of Solo Leveling will thus see the birth of the strongest character of all time in Solo Leveling, that being our protagonist, Jinwoo. As the journey continues, Jinwoo will surpass Antares by a landslide, and he will even surpass his previous peak, first seen at the end of the Solo Leveling novel and manhwa. He could even become strong enough to surpass the Itarim, the Gods of the Solo Leveling world.

Solo Leveling is a series that is especially known for its exciting action and battles. Because fights are so central to the Solo Leveling series, we see many powerful characters stand in the path of our main character, Sung Jinwoo. Over the years, Sung Jinwoo has fought his fair share of strong enemies, such as the Ant King, the Architect, and even the miscellaneous Monarchs.
