What do you think when you hear the name "Ratocalypse"? To me it sounds like one of those so bad they're good horror flicks like Sharknado, and now I kind of want this film to exist. Alas, instead of what I said, it's actually a quite neat sounding, Fire Emblem adjacent, strategy RPG auto battler about anthropomorphic medieval rats who've been subjected to a zombie plague.

The set up for the world really is that simple. The kingdom has fallen due to a plague, the plague is a zombie one, and it's up to you to find out what caused it and, preferably, find a way to cure it. No beating around the bush there! As mentioned it's an auto battler, and the main sort of gimmick is that you can design your units' AI behaviour (don't worry, the regular kind of AI, not the culture destroying kind). This comes in the form of essentially slotting in various skills at specific points of a list, all of which look quite customizable.

Say you have an ability that adds some defence to your unit. You can make it so that the skill only activates at a certain HP level, whether that be high or low, or maybe when you have a particular number of units on the battlefield. You can set the target of the skill, how many targets there can be, and then set them to activate before or after other skills. It's possible to do this for all of your units, but once they're on the battlefield, it's mostly up to them; there are a few other abilities you can help them out with during a battle, which you'll certainly want to do as they can die quite easily.
