PUBG: Battlegrounds Gets K-Pop Girl Group Collab

PUBG: Battlegrounds is no stranger to unusual collaborations, but its latest might be one of its most unexpected yet. K-pop girl group IVE is bringing its hit song Love Dive to the battle royale shooter, complete with themed locations, character skins, choreography, and music videos — further proof there is no scenario that cannot be improved with a bit of K-pop.

The collaboration is live now on PC and arrives on console November 12, bringing three special IVE locations across Rondo, all inspired by the Love Dive music video, including the IVE Mansion. We're also getting all six members represented with character likenesses, outfits, accessories, and weapon and gear skins. Across six maps, Rondo, Erangel, Miramar, Taego, Deston, and Vikendi, there are special IVE Emote Stages where you can perform one of the special IVE emotes to see a music video (on PC) or some album artwork on console. You can also look forward to Cupid's Crossbow and Cupid Chicken Man "interactive elements" on starting islands.

If you haven't yet discovered the total joy that is a good K-pop bop, the update also has something for players who prefer their PUBG experience with slightly less choreography and significantly more suffering. Two previous PvE modes are returning with increased difficulty.

HLB: Dawnbreakers of Rondo will get more frequent enemies, additional fuel requirements, and weaker defensive objectives and runs from November 4 to 25 on PC and November 12 to December 3 on consoles.

Returning roguelite mode Xeno Point: Hell trades the three OG difficulty levels for a single Hell difficulty and adds a tougher fourth sector.
