Modern Warfare 4 DMZ introduces Traits, which are essentially perks for your specific Operator that you obtain by leveling your Dog Tags through playing DMZ. One of the most controversial Traits is Possum, which allows you to revive yourself after you're already dead. Here's how the Trait works, and how you can counter it to stop a surprise attack from someone you've already killed.
These Traits have been designed to help you survive and conquer Hajin in MW4 DMZ.
Possum is a Warfighter Trait that you can get as your 9th Trait. When you have Possum as your active Trait, you can Self Revive into Last Stand from death, once per match. This means that when you are killed (not downed), you can come back from the dead while other hostile players are none the wiser.
This can be a good thing and a bad thing, because while you may be able to keep your Dog Tags and stay in the deployment to try and find more loot, it's likely that your corpse has already been looted of its Armor Vest, Weapons, and other valuables that you didn't want to lose.
Possum works even if you have used all your tourniquets. When you hold Square/X to revive to Last Stand, you will enter the downed state, where you can then get back up with a tourniquet. Just be careful when you decide to revive to Last Stand, as hostile players might be lingering nearby.
If you're sick of players using Possum, then there's actually a fairly easy way to counter it.
