Pokémon TCG: Delta Reign Booster Bundle Preorders Have Already Gotten a $25 Price Drop at Walmart — Now $55 for Six Packs

Delta Reign preorders only started dropping at Pokémon TCG retailers last week, with the Booster Bundle at best being $74.95 on Amazon as of last Friday; to my surprise, though, a third-party seller on Walmart has been quick to drop prices and even go well under market price.

At Walmart right now, seller Cataclysm Games has knocked the price of Delta Reign’s six-pack Booster Bundle to only $54.49, after slicing off $25.50 from its original $79.99 price tag.

That approximately 32% price drop is an astonishing deal for multiple reasons, depending on how you look at it.

First, its current market price, estimated by trading card marketplace TCGplayer, is currently a much higher $73.10 — almost $20 more.

Granted, it’s standard for modern Pokémon TCG Booster Bundles to steadily drop below $55, and even $45, over time (like with Perfect Order and Pitch Black), but almost never during pre-release.

Even on the Delta Reign Booster Bundle’s TCGplayer page, where you can also find available listings from as low as $72.31, its value has been slowly dropping over the last week, but any seller who jumps straight to under $55 from the get-go is really trying to earn sales fast.

If it were an unheard-of, or at least poorly rated, seller, we’d encourage anyone to stay away, but Cataclysm Games has been a regular Pokémon TCG seller we’ve seen over previous months and currently boasts four and a half out of five stars.

Of course, if you only prefer listings directly sold and shipped by the retailer itself, that’s completely fair enough.
