Pokemon GO revealed all the new details regarding its annual Halloween event, including the debut of exclusive Pokemon, rewards, and other special bonuses. As a free-to-play live service game on mobile, Pokemon GO is no stranger to offering limited-time events to players. The Halloween event in particular has become an annual staple, typically offering players countless ways to get their hands on Dark and Ghost types.

2026 has been a special year so far for the popular mobile title, as Pokemon GO celebrated its 10th anniversary earlier this year. Players have been the beneficiary of these celebrations, with plenty of special events taking place, including the arrival of Mewtwo in New York City's Time Square this past Summer. Alongside these events, Pokemon GO continues to roll out new seasonal content, with Twilight Trails also bringing back the fan favorite Halloween event later in October and into November.

Alongside the decorated PokeStops, encounter screen, and Gyms, players will also be enjoying a number of bonuses through the event's GO Pass as well as special themed Field Research Tasks to complete as well.
