PlayStation’s Black Friday Sale Is Live With Big Discounts on Digital PS5 Games

It’s official: Black Friday season is upon us. As Sony announced yesterday, the PlayStation Store has kicked off its Black Friday sale (you can see the whole sale here). The sale runs November 4 - 30, dropping prices on thousands of digital PS5 games. These range from older titles you’d expect to get discounts to new 2026 games like Wolverine, Control Resonant, Silent Hill: Townfall, and many more. Let’s take a look.

Before we dive in, it’s worth noting that these deals are just the beginning of the Black Friday season, and they may not be the best deals we'll see on these games. With Black Friday coming in just a few weeks, other retailers will certainly have some of these games on sale as well, likely for lower prices as the month progresses. So keep that in mind when planning your purchases.

Also, Sony said its Black Friday sale will run November 4 - 30; however, many game pages in this sale say the discounts will only last until November 21. I’m not 100% sure why that is, but I have to assume another wave of discounts will go live as we get closer to Black Friday. With that out of the way, let’s look at what’s on sale.

The biggest first-party PS5 game of the fall is Marvel’s Wolverine, from Insomniac, the makers of the Spider-Man PS5 games. It’s a fun (and very gory) single-player action game that tells a good story, though our reviewer scored it a 6/10 .
