PlayStation Plus Gets 3 New Games, Free For Essential Users

PlayStation Plus has been bringing out some competitive offerings in the past few months compared to Game Pass, with the previous October lineup having no shortage of titles to sink your teeth into. While this is far from all the games arriving for free this month to all PlayStation Plus subscribers, November is already off to a great start thanks to these three new games.

From classic adventure games, triple-A survival sequels, to an indie game with overwhelmingly positive reviews, there's likely at least one title in PlayStation's new roster to scratch your gaming itch, all of which will be available for Essential subscribers or higher on November 3rd.

Starting off with the game coming to PlayStation Plus, subscribers will be able to access the entire Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered trilogy, which includes The Last Revelation, Chronicles, and Angel of Darkness with updated visuals and quality of life improvements.

The remaster also has the unique feature of being able to swap between the remastered or classic graphic style whenever you want for a touch of nostalgia, which will also help get you caught up before the upcoming release of Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis and all the new features coming with the remake.

While it might not have lived up to the potential of its predecessor, the long-awaited release of Dead Island 2 still has plenty to offer for zombie survival fans, with a unique setting in a flashy, post-apocalyptic LA that makes for an unforgettable zombie experience.

Also available entirely in co-op with up to two other players, you'll be able to hack and slash your way across the city while finding new weapons to brutalize the undead from an up-close, first-person perspective.
