The Blood Moon has arrived in Phasmophobia's 2026 Halloween event, Crimson Eye! With the Blood Moon, ghosts will be more challenging and aggressive, but that comes with bonus limited-time rewards. If you want a new ID Badge, trophy, and cosmetics, then you're going to need to know how to complete the Blood Moon event for 2026.

The Crimson Eye event runs from October 8, 2026, to November 1, 2026.

The Crimson Eye event adds Blood Moon weather to specific maps each day. Maps with the Blood Moon will have these special effects that make ghosts harder to identify due to their increased speed and aggression:

You can earn event XP by playing on maps with the Blood Moon weather and doing the following actions:

If you are playing on a difficulty multiplier below 1x, you will earn no event points.

Every single day, 4 maps will become afflicted with the Blood Moon. These maps can be identified on the contract board with the Blood Moon icon, and they can be any of the following maps listed below:
