Crossplay is supported on all platforms (PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC). Here's what you need to do to invite your friends on other platforms:

You can only have four players in a session, and mods are not supported. If a player on PC can't join (or host), then make sure you're playing an unmodded version of PEAK. While client-side mods might work, it's not worth trying, as console players might not be able to join. Regardless, using mods won't get you banned.

There is no cross-progression, so if you decide to stop playing PEAK on Steam, then you will need to earn all your badges and achievements again.

No, players on consoles will not be able to join if you have mods installed, but client-side mods might work. However, if you are having issues joining friends with mods installed, it's likely that the mod is the cause of the issue.
