One UI 9 update praised by plenty of readers, but some can’t ignore a potential weakness

One UI 9 kicked off its stable journey at the end of September, with more devices now receiving the Android 17-based update. My phone received it this week, and I’m excited by the subtlety of the changes. There’s nothing flashy here, only functional changes, like Quick Settings panel customizations, a Warranty and care menu, and the option to block specific apps from accessing the internet. Functional!
