One Piece Officially Welcomes The Strongest Yonko Crew Of All Time

The Yonko, also known as the Four Emperors of the Sea, were officially introduced in One Piece in Chapter 432, all the way back on October 30, 2006, in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump Issue 48. These legendary figures were introduced to us by none other than Monkey D. Luffy's very own grandfather, Garp, and since then, these pirates have taken the world by storm.

The Yonko's influence has continually grown in the story as the plot has moved forward, and even more so since the events of One Piece chapter 1053, which was officially released on June 20, 2022, when the new Emperors were finally revealed to us for the Final Saga of the series. In the current Yonko order, there are quite a lot of powerful pirates, but no crew even holds a candle to the Straw Hat Pirates as things stand. In the Elbaf arc, Eiichiro Oda has given a massive upgrade to the crew and has now officially established them at the very top with three powerful Color of the Supreme King users, whose strength is no less than that of legendary figures such as the Admirals and the Yonko of the One Piece world.

The Straw Hat Pirates were established as a pirate crew in One Piece chapter 6, released officially on September 1, 1997, in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump Issue 40. The basis for this crew was established when Roronoa Zoro, the Pirate Hunter, joined Luffy on his adventures, and from there on, more individuals continued to join the crew, expanding this group even further.
