One Piece Is Officially Coming to Fortnite

Fortnite's next mini-season is a week away. The minor teasers that have surfaced thus far have made it clear that the upcoming season's theme will be an anime-pirate mash-up, and its main focus will be treasure hunting. That's about it. Epic Games has finally decided to pull the curtain back on the mini-season, and it's everything fans have been waiting for.

Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 is coming to an end on Nov. 1. Downtime will begin to prepare for the launch of the mini-season, which should last about a month before a brand-new chapter begins. In the past few days, Epic Games has been using social media to create hype for Oct. 24, promising a big reveal at 2 p.m. ET. The community has been eagerly awaiting more news on the next mini-season, as rumors point towards a major One Piece crossover. As far as Fortnite collaborations go, One Piece is among the most requested, so it's safe to say fans would be disappointed if the upcoming pirate-themed season didn't at least include a few skins from the series.

A few hours before the reveal, Fortnite shared the name of the new season in a short teaser : Treasure Hunters. An in-game news feed image unveiled more details, showing several pirate crew logos, among them Peely, A$AP Rocky, Hatsune Miku, Kasane Teto, and Lil Uzi Vert. Players didn't have much time to decipher who the other logos belonged to, as the big announcement went live: One Piece is, in fact, coming to Fortnite next season.
