Nami is one of the most important members of the Straw Hat Pirates, despite not being the strongest. She is a part of the original five who hail from the East Blue and are the primary protagonists of this adventure. Nami is also the heroine of One Piece, and her role in the overarching world of One Piece absolutely cannot be understated.

In the Elbaf arc, Nami has had little to do, but that's not to say that she hasn't grown in terms of strength. That said, fans want to see Nami attain even higher power, and one way that she could do that would be through a Devil Fruit Power. Interestingly enough, Eiichiro Oda, the creator of One Piece, has already teased a Devil Fruit Power for her back in One Piece Vol. 98, which many fans overlook. More importantly, Oda has also lined up another perfect Devil Fruit for her, which is currently in circulation and could find its way to the Navigator of the Straw Hat Pirates.

Within the ranks of the Straw Hat Pirates, there are only four Devil Fruit users. Monkey D. Luffy is the first Devil Fruit user of the crew, and he consumed this fruit on July 18, 1997, in the very first chapter of the series. The second Devil Fruit user to join the crew was Chopper, who did so in the Drum Island Arc and became the first recruit with an ability. Chopper was followed by Nico Robin at the end of the Arabasta Arc in Chapter 216, and then Brook joined in Thriller Bark, becoming the final Devil Fruit user of the crew.
