Death Stranding 2: On the Beach expands on the strange world established by its predecessor, including brand new characters, and an upcoming release expands on one of those new characters: Tomorrow. As fans know, Death Stranding 2 still focuses on Sam Porter Bridges, this time on his journey across Australia, but this new release is entirely focused on tomorrow.

Of course, it's worth noting that this announcement comes on the heels of an upheaval in the real world surrounding Death Stranding. Developed by Kojima Productions and published by PlayStation as a timed-console exclusive, Death Stranding was the result of a partnership between those two companies. That partnership has ended. Kojima Productions recently revealed that PlayStation canceled its support for Physint, Kojima's upcoming game, with the former company finding a new partner in Xbox. Xbox has saved Physint, giving the upcoming Metal Gear Solid spiritual successor a new home as Kojima Productions continues to work on all its projects.

The upcoming release of Death Stranding isn't just a product of Kojima Productions, but it was definitely involved. Hideo Kojima recently shared images of a new Hot Toys exclusive action figure of Tomorrow, the mysterious young woman played by Elle Fanning. Hot Toys is now expanding its Death Stranding 2 lineup with a 1/6-scale Tomorrow Collectible Figure (Artisan Edition), which stands approximately 29 centimeters tall.

The new Death Stranding figure features a newly crafted head sculpt based on Elle Fanning's likeness, complete with separate rolling eyeballs and detailed facial features, while her long, wavy blonde hair is individually implanted using wool material.
