There are tons of Stardew Valley-like indie games on Steam, but The Rabbit Haul flips the cozy farm genre on its head by also throwing in some high-stakes defense gameplay into the mix. The Steam library continues to grow day by day, which makes it pretty hard to figure out which new indie games are worth the time. From horror to cozy life sims and an influx of new creature collectors, the Steam indie offerings are more robust than ever. The Rabbit Haul's willingness to blend two very different genres into one makes it a standout newcomer, though.
