The Ace Attorney series has spent 25 years turning courtroom battles, bizarre murder cases, and memorable characters into one of Capcom's most recognizable adventure franchises, and now the publisher has shown off a new release for the franchise's anniversary on October 12. What began with Phoenix Wright's first case in 2001 eventually grew into multiple mainline games, spin-offs, crossovers, and adaptations across other forms of media.

Since then, Ace Attorney has introduced plenty of attorneys and assistants beyond Phoenix Wright and Maya Fey, with characters like Miles Edgeworth, Apollo Justice, Athena Cykes, and others becoming important parts of the franchise. The series has also expanded outside games through anime, manga, stage productions, and even a live-action film directed by Takashi Miike. Needless to say, Ace Attorney has made the most of its 25 years.

Now, Ace Attorney officially gets a new 25th Anniversary release in the form of a commemorative visual celebrating the franchise's milestone. October 12 marks the official 25th anniversary of Ace Attorney , and Capcom has brought together a number of fan-favorite attorneys and assistants for the new artwork. It's not as good as a new Ace Attorney game announcement , but hopefully that comes sooner rather than later thanks to the franchise's success. For example, Capcom recently shared that the 2019 HD collection Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy has surpassed 5 million copies sold.
