Modern Warfare 4: Everything Included In November's Season 1 Update

It's not much of a secret to say that Call of Duty has been in a bit of a rut over its last few outings, but the latest release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 has been a breath of fresh air for the franchise. With a legendary campaign praised as one of the best in over a decade, the only area of Modern Warfare 4 that still needs improving is the multiplayer.

Thankfully, Activision already has plenty of content locked and loaded for its first season, with a wave of new additions to liven up the experience with maps, game modes, weapons, and plenty more for fans to enjoy.

Initially announced with a promo posted on the PlayStation X account, Modern Warfare's first season will be released on November 6 for all platforms. On top of bringing back a reimagined version of Soot House from the original Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, we're getting 2 entirely new multiplayer maps in the form of a war-torn town with Backstab, and a vertical environment with multiple pathways in Canyon.

Two new game modes are also arriving on November 6, those being Grind and Drop Zone, where you'll have to kill players and bring their dog tags back to your base, and hold a single rotating objective while killstreaks drop in, respectively.

Later on during the first season, even more brand-new maps are on the way with Ministry and Overflow, in addition to the Counter Attack mode where you'll be tasked with detonating a bomb in the enemy base while defending your own.
