Hunter X Hunter: 7 Nen Gods Who Rival Netero, Officially Ranked

Hunter x Hunter’s Isaac Netero is one of the strongest Hunters of all time. The former chairman of the Hunter Association has Nen mastery like almost no other. For decades, Isaac Netero honed his skills and unlocked abilities most Nen users couldn't even dream of coming close to.

While he stood as one of the most skilled Nen users of all time, he definitely had his rivals, who possess powers comparable to those of the Gods of the Hunter x Hunter world. They have such power that even Isaac Netero would have struggled, and maybe even lost to them, in a one-on-one battle.

Ging Freecs is a figure we had long waited to see in Hunter x Hunter, as finding him was the main motivation behind Gon's actions and desire to become a Hunter in the first place. We always had high expectations for Ging Freecs, and Togashi, so far, has definitely delivered on these promises. Ging, just like Gon, is extremely talented and a natural prodigy at Nen.

While we've yet to see Ging Freecs go all out in battle, we already have an idea of his capacities. Upon seeing Leorio's Remote Punch once, Ging was able to easily replicate it and improve on it during the Succession Contest arc. The power to be able to observe and copy others' abilities is, by itself, a major feat and an indicator of his level of Nen mastery. With Isaac Netero out of his prime, Ging has definitely shown that he has, at the very least, the potential to stand up and maybe even defeat the former Chairman.
