How To Unlock Every Achievement In Valor Mortis

While most of the achievements in Valor Mortis have relatively straightforward requirements, several of them can still be a bit tricky to unlock without knowing where to start or having the right items to actually complete them.

Thankfully, you can take solace in knowing that there aren't any missable achievements in Valor Mortis, and all of them can be completed in a single playthrough so long as you're willing to put in the time and effort to explore everything the game has to offer, and a bit extra.

Although most of the achievements in Valor Mortis are locked behind story progression or ability unlocks, there are still numerous challenges you can complete fairly early on, or can benefit from knowing in advance so you can attempt them as soon as you unlock the related item or ability.

With low enough health, die from falling off the map or from a high enough height

Can be done once you unlock the grappling hook ability on any of the living walls, easiest with the upgrade that slows down time when aiming.

Must be done with the Rapier unlocked after the Church, and best to use against low-level soldiers or a villager with a predictable and slow attack pattern.

Using either the Pistol or Musket, wait until the Grenadier is about to throw to leave the biggest opening and shoot the bucket below its waist.

Easiest done by singling out a torch-bearing villager, let them hit you enough to light you on fire, and then use the Fire Transmutation or Fire Whetstone on them
