How to Unlock All Islands in How to Fish

How to Fish has five different islands, but you won’t have access to all of them from the start. You’ll need to complete certain quests before you can travel to the next island. Each new area unlocks new fish, quests, and bosses. Below, we’ll explain how to unlock every island in How to Fish.

There are over 49 fish and creatures to catch in How to Fish, which is why we'll show you what they are, where to find them, and how to catch them!

Each island will have a quest to complete, and below, you'll discover each island along with its required quests to unlock the next one:

The Lighthouse is the first island in How to Fish. It’s unlocked automatically when you start the game.

To reach the forest, you need to complete the Who Stole My Beer quest, which requires you to defeat the Spider Crab, the first boss in the game. Once you beat it, you will need to return to the Lighthouse Keeper, and he will give you his boat.

After getting the boat, buy the radar from the Lighthouse Keeper. You can use it to find the Forest Island by looking for the green dot. Follow it, and you will find the second island.

Once you reach Forest, you’ll meet a girl who tells you about a fish she wants to cook for dinner. She can’t catch it herself because her father doesn’t let her use guns, so she asks you to take care of it instead.
