Villains are the lifeblood of Dragon Ball, and are often the best characters in any individual story arc. Dragon Ball Super had some truly amazing villains between Beerus' first appearance in Battle of Gods, Frieza's return in Resurrection F, Goku Black, Zamasu, and Broly – and Dragon Ball Super 2 will be no different. The only thing that will be different is just how overwhelmingly powerful the villains of Dragon Ball Super 2 will be.

Dragon Ball Super 2 is going to introduce some of the strongest villains in anime history – antagonists so powerful, they'll change Goku and Vegeta's lives forever. By the end of the series, these DBS 2 villains will be just as iconic as Frieza, Cell, and Majin Buu were after Dragon Ball Z ended.

Going into the Black Frieza Saga, Gohan is technically Dragon Ball Super​​​​​​​'s main character – but all of that is about to change.

Moro will be the first villain in Dragon Ball Super 2 , and the only antagonist in the series to unlock Ultra Instinct. Planet Eater Moro is an ancient evil who was locked away by the Galatci Patrol for years. When he breaks out and heads to New Namek, Goku and Vegeta have no choice but to pursue, putting them against a foe far more dangerous than anything they've ever faced before.
