How to start the new Clampdown mission in Cyberpunk 2077's 2.5 update

The main mission added in Cyberpunk 2077 2.5 update is called Clampdown, designed to tie into the second season of Edgerunners. It's available to play for free for anybody who's downloaded the 2.5 patch for Cyberpunk 2077, but you'll need to walk through a few hoops to unlock it. If you want to play Clampdown, here's how to do just that and what you need to get given this new quest.

To unlock the Edgerunners Clampdown mission and get to play it in Cyberpunk's 2.5 patch, you need to complete the following milestones within the game:

At this point you should (eventually) get a message from Wakako called "A Request from King". Have a quick text conversation with her, and you'll be given the Clampdown quest and be free to pursue it when ready. Pursuing the mission to its end will grant you various rewards related to Edgerunners Season 2, including both new outfits and weaponry themed around the characters in that show.
