How to make goo in Enshrouded

To craft goo in Enshrouded, you must summon the right craftsman and slay a bunch of critters. As it increases your attributes and allows you to spend more time in the Shroud, it's very important to strengthen the flame as soon as possible, but to reach flame level 4, you must obtain the mysterious "goo" substance.

Goo is part of various crafting recipes. Most importantly, you'll need 15 goo to strengthen the flame to level 4. On top of that, you will need goo to craft the Adventurer's Trousers, the Healing Tunic, and various spells.

To unlock the goo crafting recipe, you must have unlocked the Alchemist, Balthazar. If you haven't done so yet, visit his Ancient Vault northwest of the Cinder Vault and directly west of the Ancient Spire in the Springlands. Back at your base, use the Summoning Staff as usual to summon Balthazar.

Next, you must complete Balthazar the Alchemist's quests until you've built the mortar at the end of "The Alchemist's Mortar." This allows you to craft bug dust, which is a necessary ingredient for goo. One bug dust requires one critter part, which is dropped by the blue beetles in the Shroud.

You'll unlock the goo crafting recipe as soon as you've crafted some bug dust.

As mentioned, you can craft goo at the Alchemist. Here's the crafting recipe for goo in Enshrouded:

To obtain Springlands dirt, equip a pickaxe and hit the ground anywhere within the Springlands region (the starting region).
