How To Get Ocarina Of Time Remake's N64 Slip Cover Pre-Order Bonus In The UK

The Ocarina of Time remake is still a few days away, which means it’s not too late to pre-order your copy and secure whichever bonus comes with doing that in your part of the world. Unfortunately, the best bonuses of all, those N64 slip covers, are tied to retailers in France and Canada. However, Nintendo has just announced a way to get your hands on one in the UK.

It is going to require a little more than just buying your copy of the Ocarina remake from a specific retailer, though, and potentially even some travel depending on where you live. Argos, specifically the store on Tottenham Court Road in London, will be holding a midnight launch of the new Switch 2 exclusive. That’s where you’ll need to go if you want one of those slip covers.

The midnight launch, which will take place at midnight UK time on November 5, Ocarina launch day, is open to anyone and everyone. Buy your copy of the Ocarina remake at the launch event, and it will come with a free N64 slip cover for the game and an Ocarina keychain. It’s the black and gold cover, as that’s the version the original game had in the UK and Europe.

The only way to get the red and gold slip cover pre-order bonus is by buying the remake through EB Games in Canada.

There is neither a ticket to buy nor even a box to check to indicate if you’re attending, which means no way of knowing how many people are going to be queuing outside of that Argos until Wednesday night.
