How to Get Crash Bandicoot in Fortnite

Crash Bandicoot is joining Fortnite on August 28 in the Item Shop at 8 PM EST, and it's likely that he'll cost 1,600 V-Bucks. However, you do have the opportunity to save some V-Bucks and flex your skills by getting Crash Bandicoot entirely for free, but doing so is going to require you to compete in the Crash Bandicoot Fortnite Override Series Cup. Below, you'll find details on these Competitive Events, along with more information on what you can get for your victories!

Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 features a few Gaming Legends, but there's a wealth of collabs worth exploring for this epic season!

If you want the Crash Bandicoot skin for free, you need to compete in the Override Series: Crash Bandicoot Cup on August 28, 2026. There are three Cups to pick from: Crash Bandicoot Mobile Cup (Solos), Crash Bandicoot Reload Cup (Duos), and Crash Bandicoot Zero Build Reload Cup (Duos), so if you're a Solo player not on Mobile, you'll need to find a duo partner.

You can only get the Crash Bandicoot skin for free if you place in the top percentage of players shown in the table below (which will also showcase the times you need to be on Fortnite Competitive for). You'll score points during the cup mostly for eliminations and match placements, and you'll have two hours to reach the highest score possible:

The times above apply to the Battle Royale Duos and Reload Duos Cups. If you want to compete in the Mobile-exclusive cup, then it's an hour earlier.
