Breeding animals and increasing your husbandry rating in Planet Zoo 2 has a chance to give you a new animal with a different colored coat. These variations are called colormorphs, and while not every animal has a colormorph variant, we'll share the 63 that do and give you a closer look at which ones you can get. It will be a hunt, but you can buy the colormorph variations of animals on the trade market. These animals typically cost more and can take some time before they show up for purchase.

However, you can always try your hand at tracking the genetic lines of your animals and breeding them together a certain way. This takes many, many offspring and making sure both parents have the right genetics.

When you have an animal's overview menu open, the last tab is Genetics. It shows their genetic rating, vitality, longevity, fertility, immunity, and physical appearance.

At the bottom of the genetics list, a green button labeled Compare Mates opens a menu showing all your options so you can see the potential offspring. Your breeding will get easier if you research your animals and make sure their welfare is good.
