One thing you’ll notice early in Graveyard Keeper 2 is how important Technology Points are. Most crafting recipes, workstations, and features are locked behind the Tech Tree. You will need Technology Points to unlock them and expand what you can do in the game. With three types of Tech Points, each comes from different activities, we'll explain what those are, how you can get more, and why you need them!

There are three types of Tech Points in Graveyard Keeper 2:

Red Tech Points are the easiest ones to get early. You can earn them from a lot of basic tasks, especially ones that involve your tools. For example, you can use your Rusty Pickaxe to break rocks, your Rusty Hammer to work on graves, and your shovel when digging graves.

Crafting is another great way to get Red Tech Points, but the number of points you get depends on what you are crafting. For example, making Boards gives you one Red Tech Point, while crafting a Piece of Stone gives you three Red Tech Points. If you need Red Tech Points early on, breaking rocks and chopping trees are easy options in my opinion.

Green Tech Points come from nature and farming . Harvesting crops and bushes is one of the easiest ways to get them early in the game. You can also get Green Tech Points from crafting certain items.
