Dressmaker has some unusual customer requests. Prudence wants a standout dress for a funeral, and Fiona needs a cheerful dress that she can wear for her outdoor work. Then there's Edith Swan, whose request is a little more complicated. She was a famous opera singer who stopped performing after her husband died. Now, she's sitting down for an interview with the man writing her biography, and she wants a dress that will help her make an impression.
Sit on a throne and dictate the lives of hundreds, thousands, or even millions in these games that let you manage a medieval kingdom.
Like with other customers, start by taking Edith's measurements. Here are the numbers you need:
Once you have her measurements, you will need to pick the fabric. Edith needs at least 50 Daywear, 25 Glamour, and 20 Risque, so you should use these tags when looking through the available fabrics. I went with Capricorn Burnout Velvet, which meets all three requirements.
Next, players will have to choose the rest of the dress. I used the Sweetheart Bodice, Cap Sleeve, and Bias Cut Skirt, with no collar. This combination easily meets Edith's requirements. Finally, adjust the mannequin to match the measurements you took earlier. Make sure to match them exactly because this is important for getting 100% quality.
Next, you will need to place all the pattern pieces on the fabric. Make sure to keep them close together so you don't run out of fabric. As you rotate the pieces, keep an eye on the percentage and try to get it as high as possible.
