It's the smallest details that stand out most in Grand Theft Auto 6, and thanks to all the screenshots that developer Rockstar Games has posted since the game was officially announced, there's been no shortage of stuff to analyze. Last week, senior video producer Jake Dekker grabbed all 99 of those official screenshots--with the number of images increasing this week thanks to a new screenshot dump--and started going through each and every single one of them.

He found plenty of cool little secrets hidden in each image, from legal tender celebrating paranoia to surprisingly realistic flesh, and this week, he's back with another look at GTA 6's impressive attention to detail. Some of these include colorful iguana lizards dotted around Vice City, references to real-life abandoned bridge projects, and local hangouts where you can catch some downtime between heists. Some of the other cool secrets hidden inside of these screenshots include vibrant underwater environments with scuba gear that looks very authentic, and co-protagonist Lucia's high-thread-count gym gear--maybe Jason could learn a thing or two from her about proper gym etiquette. The screenshots also show off Rockstar's technical skills for camera angles, lighting effects, and reflections, making each scene pop when you start to examine them closely.

If these screenshots are a solid indicator of what to expect, it looks like GTA 6 could be one of the best-looking games of the year, which is no small feat considering that games like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, Resident Evil Requiem, and 007 First Light have pushed the line for realistic video game graphics in 2026.
