GTA 6 Finally Has Its Trailer 3

Rockstar has decided to drop an excellent launch trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 out of nowhere and a whole month before the game's actual launch, to boot.

After months of painful silence, GTA 6's marketing cycle has really kicked off over the past month or so, with big news drops for the game happening basically every single week. We've had the Extended Look, DualSense controllers, the album reveal, a controversial collector's edition, detailed previews, and much more.

The one thing that's been left to wonder about GTA 6 is whether we'd get a final trailer for the game before its release in just over a month's time. Every other game in the series has had a launch trailer, but the marketing has been so unique that it was tough to know what was coming. Even so, I don't think anyone thought that launch trailer would arrive more than a month ahead of the actual launch.

The launch trailer for GTA 6 kicks off by giving a rare bit of backstory for Jason, who admits that he "ran into some trouble" during his time in the army, presumably leading him to Leonida. Jason then gets a call from Lucia in prison, ending the trailer's story teases and bringing us to a wild montage of what we can expect from our return to Vice City, all set to the instant banger, "Flower in a Hurricane".

Sony is right - Grand Theft Auto 6 is probably going to play best on PlayStation.
