GTA 6 Dev Breaks Silence on Nintendo Switch 2 Version

A former Grand Theft Auto 6 developer has publicly discussed the possibility of the game coming to the Nintendo Switch 2. While there are currently no public plans to release GTA 6 for the hybrid console, many Nintendo Switch 2 owners have held onto hope that it's still in the cards.

Fans of the franchise are eagerly awaiting the rapidly-approaching release of Grand Theft Auto 6, but some gamers will be left out. The game is releasing on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles, but PC and Nintendo Switch 2 gamers have been left wondering if and when they'll get their opportunity to play. While CEO Strauss Zelnick recently indicated that PC is an important market for Take-Two Interactive, meaning that a release is likely in the cards, the Nintendo Switch 2 might be a different matter.

Rockstar Games finally pulls the curtain back on the Grand Theft Auto 6 Collector's Box, revealing everything it comes with.

Former Rockstar Games developer Jérémy Hartvick addressed the possibility of the Nintendo Switch 2 getting Grand Theft Auto 6 while being interviewed by YouTuber Kiwi Talkz . Hartvick explained that there are some factors working against the idea of the game coming to Nintendo Switch 2, beginning with the hardware power and capabilities of the device. The game would need to be adjusted in order to function on the device natively, which would mean more work for Rockstar Games. " However, he didn't completely shut down the possibility.
