Google’s newest Pixel watch faces are starting to reach older Pixel Watch models

TL;DR Google is officially rolling out Pixel Watch 5 watch faces to the Pixel Watch 4 through the Google Pixel Watch Faces app.

The update includes Weave, Chronograph, Multicolor Modular, Multicolor Reveal, the Stephen Curry face, and reportedly the AI watch face generator.

The rollout appears gradual, so some Pixel Watch 4 owners may still need to wait for the Play Store update.

Buying the newest Google Pixel hardware usually comes with a brief exclusivity period. The latest phones and watches get the shiny new tricks first, but Google rarely keeps all of them locked away forever. We’re already seeing Pixel 11 features, like its newer Screen Saver options and Proactive Assistance , trickle down to Pixel 10 and Pixel 9 models, and the Pixel Watch 5 has followed a similar path. Now, one of its most visible upgrades is officially reaching the Pixel Watch 4.

A Reddit user reports receiving an update to the Google Pixel Watch Faces app directly through the Play Store on their Pixel Watch 4 LTE. Version 4.2.12.989940186 reportedly unlocks several faces that debuted with the Pixel Watch 5, including Weave, Chronograph, Multicolor Modular, and Multicolor Reveal.
