Google Earth gets a new logo with Google’s gradient makeover

TL;DR Google has quietly updated the Google Earth app icon in the Play Store.

The new icon uses more gradients, similar to icons for other Google apps.

The new icon is currently only visible in the Play Store listing and the Google Earth Engine website.

Google may have killed off Google Earth Pro , but it hasn’t forgotten about the vanilla Google Earth app. It recently introduced new AI-powered data layers and rolled out Google Earth’s built-in flight simulator globally. Now, the company seems to be redesigning the Google Earth logo to bring it in line with its new gradient design language for app icons.
