Gameplay footage from what appears to be EA Motive Studio's Iron Man game has leaked online.
Video for what seems to be EA's long-in-development Iron Man game started circulating on social media today. It's a bit more than a few cobbled-together clips, too, showing a (very unfinished) project that features not only Tony Stark's Iron Man, but what seem to be a S.H.I.E.L.D. helicarrier and potentially other characters that Marvel fans may recognize.
The footage, which appeaers to be part of a trailer from an early-in-development build, looks like the kind of thing you'd expect from an Iron Man game. Tony can be seen flying under bridges and through city streets, beating up armored bad guys in between shots of him tinkering on new suit technology, giving the impression that EA Motive is crafting something that will have players traveling around the world.
The allegedly leaked footage for the Iron Man game promises that players will be shooting missiles, using arm-mounted lasers, and throwing missiles at tanks. We won't share any of that here, but if the footage does turn out to be real, it would seem rumors that Motive's Iron Man game was canceled have been greatly exaggerated.
Interestingly, this isn't even the first time this week footage for an unfinished Iron Man game found its way on the net. Monday, video for what seemed to be Avalanche Studios' Iron Man game also surfaced online . It's a different project that was rumored to be in development in the early 2010s before its eventual cancellation.
